Going to the Ocean Park

This morning, my classmates and I went to the Ocean Park. I have not gone to there for about four years so it has been changing a lot. When I walked around the Ocean Park this morning I could find there was a lot of constructions carrying out. And I knew there is going to have some hotels. It seem to be a good thing to the Ocean Park because the hotels can attract more tourist to come. But it may destroy everything in the natural place when building the hotels. This morning I found that half of a hill in the Ocean Park has been already eradicated and the rest is going to be the same too. And there was also some land reclamation. From these activities, I can find that Hong Kong society cannot reach the substainable development. And this must not be allowed to happen in an international city.
About my learning in this morning, I learnt that the eating habit of the animals. They can be basically divided into three groups. They are herbnivore, carnivore and omnivore. We humans are omnivore. I also learnt how to identify which animal is herbnivore, which animal is carnivore and which is omnivore. And I also learnt what are the problems that dolphins and pandas are facing. They are disturbed by the human activities and they are endangered.
After seeing these problems I started to doubt about what Ocean Park is doing. They knew that destory natural habitat may disturb animals, but why are they still doing it? They are still cutting up trees to make hotels and they are still doing land reclamation.
Besides learning, there was some time for us to go and play. I played some of the games in the park and I felt a bit scared when I played them.
I was satisfied about my learning and enjoyed my playing this time. When we returned to school, I heard that there were a lot of my classmates claiming that there was time limited. But the time is for playing. I disagree with them because we went to the Ocean Park is for learning, not playing. I think there was enough time today. But maybe they are not thinking the same as me.
